All of the upper screws should be replaced the screw will hit the bottom when threaded all the way in on both sides of tank its not worth risking just use shorter screws and no more worries.

Hmm, I've had no issues with them but would like longer screws on some portions of the radio tray so I may give that a shot.

I was looking at some of the pics from the fuel tank topics and noticed that it seems just about everyone has routed their fuel lines differently than the instruction book. I spent about 20 minutes trying out different setup before settling on one but was curious as to what everyone had come up with.



Also, after the various dialog about the brakes/linkage, I ended up with what is in the image below. Was hoping to test it out this weekend but there is a $50,000 fishing derby up here that I just cant resist (that buys a lot of tires!) so it will have to wait a bit longer. Parts are from the JQ white edition (no clue if they're different from the yellow or original), mostly because I have a thing for orange (disregard the lone original collet there, I have another JQ bag on the way ). I trimmed the spring bit by bit until I got a tension that seemed good and also that the servo didnt object to. Sure hope it helps out.

Zip tie the exhaust line to the carb or route it over the fuel line. You do not want it hitting the flywheel and getting stuck, cutting off your engine (which will happen).

Your brake setup is the almost exactly the same as mine, I too used JQ stuff but silver version and used the small springs to make my brakes more progressive and it works really well. I spent a lot, A LOT, of time working on my brakes setup and finally have it where I want.

By the way, I love that power button but the Kyosho one has a full LED reading to show battery life and some other cool features, unfortuatenly its more expensive. Thunder Innovations has an aluminum orange version of the one you have, thought you might like that, check the link.
