I think something's wrong with my APS..
I plugged in a 2400 pack to charge, came back 15 mins later and it was displaying "Low Voltage". I have a 20A PS, so it couldn't have been that..
I shut it down, tried charging again, and it said "Check connection".. opened'er up, the 20A fuse blew.. strange..
I replaced it, and tried a motor test. As soon as it give it a bit of voltage, the power supply light starts dimming, I hear a low squeal coming from the APS I think, and it stops, saying low voltage. I haven't tried another battery pack yet, but I can imagine it just might blow a fuse again. The 15A fuse looks fine.
I have a second APS, hooked it up and it works fine with the motor run, so it can't be my power supply.
Time to send it in for repairs?

Hi All,
Just wondering how to analyse the “dyno” results.
I put some well used motor on the dyno last night and here are my results:
Epic X
Max rpm @ 7v 6.5 amps 34000
Max amp @ 6.8v 7.06 amps 33000
CO27
Max rpm @ 7v 7.75 amps 32000
Max amp @ 5.56v 10.83 30000
When I start tuning what is the best to look for, do you just want to see increases in both amps and rpm? How do you read the Max amp figures, is max amp at lower voltage a good thing?
Thanks
Wayne

Hey Guys,
I know it's been over 2 years since this charger has been discussed but I have some questions on this charger. I race mini-z so I will only charge AAA batt. at .8 to 1.4 amps and test 130 motor on it. I have read all 18 pages and still have some questions.
1. I have a 10 amp power supply, will it work?(please remember I'm only charging at the most 1.4 amps.)
2. Will the RPM sensor fit onto a 130 motor?
3. Will a 130 motor fit into the motor stand?
I like to buy this charge because you can charge, test motor, and it is small in size. I have used my friends Much More Motor Master and I like it but it doesn't charge batt.
Thank you for your help.

i have this charger one of the best it think. I wish they had a lipo upgrade.
your power supply will work fine but you will not be able to use the rpm sensor. it is ment for a 540.
you can spin the motors up to break them in but that is it
