Not guessing anything really, just quoting what they are stating to be the case.

I think it is pretty clear if their top end (surface) radio is not going to come packaged with FASST, then they don't see it as the future.

I never believed anyone could tell the difference in latency between the mid and high end radios. I went from the 4PL to a 4PKSR. There was a very noticeable difference and I was shocked at how much there was. For the people who claim they can't tell, I'd guess they can't tell the difference in a lot of things when it comes to driving their cars such as small setup changes etc. I don't think I would have noticed when I first got into RC's. But now that I have been doing it a few years and have gotten fairly competitive I definitely notice it. I still have the 4PL and my daughter uses it. She prefers it over the 4PKSR. It drives me crazy now to use the 4PL because it is noticeably slower.

I went from 4pl to 4pksr and I could tell a difference right away... hope the latency is even less with the 4px to make it worth switching...

I can't wait for this radio to come out! Good thing I held off on the 4PKSR. Now I know what my wife can get me for Christmas!

That's Awesome that it's actually coming in stock.

It doesn't mention if it comes with 1 or 2 Receivers?

Has anyone ordered from Banzai before and where to?

Thanks,

TAS

Update Info:

Banzai explained that Futaba 4PX will be arrived on 31 July 2014 in Japan.
They can deliver this product to overseas customers afterwards.

Based on the foregoing search engine, Banzai seems to stock only 1 receiver models, i.e., Futaba 4PX with R304SB, and Futaba 4PX with R304SB-E.

I have made several international orders from Banzai, and they do provide excellent services to overseas customers.

Please note that if you purchase Futaba Radio from Japan, then Futaba's distributor in your local country may not honor the after sales services / warranties.

Does anyone know if this radio will work with the R2104GF receiver? I think I read that it will but I'm not sure.

None of the preorder places actually let you prepay for it, I know what I'm like if I leave the money sitting in my Paypal I'm at risk of buying magic beans or something!

What did Tower tell you for a date? I ordered today from them and said end of August (8/31) which is just a placeholder. Don't think they will be getting a shipment on Sunday of Laborday weekend
