It hasn't been out for eons in reality and their top driver - volker - is running the current unit, but with a reasonably new firmware, and is winning almost everything he enters.
The R10 (it's main competitor really) has only just been replaced and that was about a year older.
Maybe they will have some prototypes at the upcoming worlds? Who knows. Unlikely to make a big change and potentially upset the formula before the worlds though.
Would make sense if the aim of LRP is to perfect the current unit, win the worlds (volker has to be odd on favourite) and then go back to the drawing board.

If not, are you sure the ESC is connected to the RX with correct polarity?
Have you tried to calibrate or are you not even able to get that far? Ie: nothing happens when you hold the set button for 3secs?
What happens when you use the trigger on your TX - does it stay as blue light to does it drop out/change colour?

I think you're inventing this story yourself!

The orca is a great speedo too from all reports, yes, but it doesn't have the availability or exposure of the other two really - not yet anyway. There are plenty of good units out there. There's some crap too though

LRP! We need an app for android and ios phones to update and set up our speed controls. It would definitely set the brand apart and with orion charging $ for a set up box it would be more appealing for consumers to use their already owned smartphone instead of cashing out for a set up unit. We already use our computers with the lrp software what's the difference if we could use our phones at the track? !!!!!!!!!!!
