I've tried re calibrating ESC to radio(4PKSR) a bunch of times with EPA at 100 and 120 and so on. Still the car is not as fast as I think it should be.
For comparison my T4 14 with the orca VXX and orca 4.5 motor has much more top end even with a 7.98 ratio.

Heres my set up.
411 ERYX with 7.6 FDR
LRP flow works with the v4.7 software
Reedy 4.0T timing is at default 20 degrees
ESC setings are 3,2,0,1,0,6,3,6,1,2

Running on large asphalt track. Back straight is 220ft.

Car just doesn't seem fast enough. I'm trying to hit low-mid 60mph on the back straight but I'm only hitting around 57mph (clocked on radar gun) even when turning up boost and turbo higher then the above settings.
Almost feels like no turbo is being applied. It gets up to speed nicely but just doesn't have that pull at the end of the straight. Kinda falls flat for the last 1/4 of the back straight while fast cars continue to pull hard the whole way through.

Any ideas what to try? Manual says a bad cap could cause lower power, anybody have that problem? I have another LRP flow works in my 1/10 2wd Buggy I could try to see if its the ESC I just hate to swap them out only to be disappointed

If anybody has any suggestions I would really appreciate it.
Change Reedy 4.0T timing......at 38 to 40 degrees

I moved to LRP ESC because of the braking power on carpet -- as I really needed the extra power to get the Awesomatix slowed down on a super tight local track -- Critters RC.

This is my first season running LRP outdoors -- previously I've run everything else . Semi-XBrake really helps me prevent wheel lock on asphalt.

I want to try BD3 again -- but haven't had the time. It provides the most direct braking...
Okay hahaha

I prefer the new BD3 brakes. It takes a few packs to get used to but for me it makes the low and high speed brakes feel the same which I like

Been testing and trouble shooting it out of the car the entire time. Good idea though. But yep, isn't an installation/car isssue.

Default Torque Timing

What does it actually do to the motor mechanically?

Does it retard the motor off the start to aid in keeping temps down? Just a guess.

I upgraded to 4.7 recently and had zero issues.

I have the same issue. I think I will try to re-flash the esc with 4.7 again and see if there is any difference.

You have to do a factory reset after changing the software.
Hold Set and start the ESC while holding it. After that, it will work

I found this needed to be done before you turn on the ESC for the first time after doing the update. So after updating, do not turn on the ESC unless you are holding the set button at the same time, or it will not do the factory reset and you must reinstall the new firmware again, and again do a factory reset as the first action directly after loading the new firmware.

Sorry to be redundant, but it is important that the factory reset be done.
