Yes, I'm in contact with [email protected]. I get polite answers, but they just ask for my patience. And I have been patient. For three weeks!

RC Disco don't respond to my mails, and they don't answer my calls. It seem others have the same experience. They are supposed to represent Tekin here in Europe, but I can tell you that they are not very good at it.

Can it be arranged so that I can get a replacement sent from the US instead? According to the RC Disco site all Tekin products are out of stock any way...

It will be fine assuming you get a nice solid solder joint connection.

Randy,

Changing my Throttle Ratio to 70/30, will that smooth out throttle response?

Right now I'm running stock settings on my ESC, what setting changes would you recommend? 1/8 on-road/ 2650kv/ 4s

  • the esc is connected to the rx properly
  • good solid and proper solder connections
  • tx battery is full
  • servo works fine
  • rx works fine in another car
  • tried changing throttle on tx to reverse
  • sensor wire is new

When NOT in setup mode, the ESC lights change when pulling throttle or brake, so it appears to be getting signal from the RX. Also the fan comes on as soon as it turns on. Not sure if that's normal.

I read about neutral width being a problem but don't see that in my 3pks or the manual. Am I missing something else?

Thanks
I fixed the problem by messing with my 3pks. I had to go into adjustments > throttle and reset the neutral, fwd, and brake values. Once that was done, setup mode found neutral and fwd, but not brakes. I then went into the 3pks and set throttle to reverse and then it worked. Hopefully this helps someone else with a 3pks.

Answer in red above.

For onroad keep the timing low and really focus on the proper gearing for your track...this is very important.

This may not be the best place to ask, but I would like to try changing my throttle ratio to see how it feels. I have a Spektrum DX3R Pro and I don't see in the manual how to change throttle ratio. Does anybody know if it is the same thing as the throttle travel?

The Spektrum radio is 70/30 out of the box. There's no way to change it to 50/50....
