Could anyone tip me off as to how many millimeters of brake bias turnbuckle do I want exposed to achieve 40%f/60%r brake bias? What about 50%/50%?
And is it normal for the brake pads to have an indentation from the disc in them after their first race weekend?
How long do brake pads typically last?
Sorry for all of the nitro newbie questions. Thanks in advance for the help!

It's easier to hold full brake and adjust the bias so both front and rear feel the same (50/50) rather than measure mm. The measurement can change based on pad wear and other factors. The pads will wear in but should last a long time if the bias is set correctly. If you have too much front, for example, you will see accelerated wear on the front pads.

the only thing i have ever broken is the rear gear box mount where the brace screws into
never broken a arm or anything so dont go over board on parts until you see how you go
but yeh wait for new tanks to be safe i think

Hey guys, I have found what I believe to be a really good starting setup for the NB48. I have tried the setup on extremely Loose / soft outdoor track and high bite indoor track. Simple droop and ride height adjustments seem to be key to fine tuning it to track conditions. I know that everyone drives different but for me this is the best the car has felt and i thought i would share.
