Good deal, maybe it was the pinion that didnt work. As you mentioned it will need to be modified in some way. I am not aware of a different pinion that works with the caster diffs (at least I never tried one).

The biggest thing im concerned with is the rear left dogbone already bottoms out in the outdrive at full plunge (stock), so anything wider than 1mm may be an issue. Again, I dont have the car in front of me so im not sure how much material can be removed from the dogbone itself.

Understood. I will check all corners for plunge once I get a pinion solution. The pinions Thanks for sharing your insights and experience.

What are are most running for a servo in the B44.2 as far as torque and speed?

Turnigy trakstar ts920 I believe its around 188oz torgue and 0.07 speed!!! Great bang for the buck too!!!

ok guys looking for a little help. I know many of you may think im nuts but Im looking for a way to tame the handling of my 44.2 down. It seems super aggressive and has super twitchy steering. Im running on a outdoor medium bite track and it is loose in the rear end when getting back on power. Car is stock minus the j concepts steering rack and im running the center hole. The car just turns in very hard making it loose. My mid motor serpent is easier to drive and has more rear traction for example.

Do those of you that have switched to the Avid chassis find the car to feel more planted with it over the stock chassis for outdoor racing in low to mid traction? Ran mine for the first time Friday night with the stock chassis and it was pretty good but there was a few running the Avid chassis that seemed to look a bit more planted than mine. Thoughts?
