The current app isn't compatible with 4.2 or higher OS. SO from the sounds of it your device updated the OS and disabled the app unfortunately.

The good news, we're working on an update to the app that will allow it to work on 4.2, 4.3, and 4.4.

Got my RSX installed, does it come with the current software?
Will the hotwire app be able to update the ESC's to the current software?

Will the RSX power a Pro4 4300HD in my SCT410 or is the truck too heavy? I'm thinking it would save some weight.

I've had no issues with the RSX and my Windows 8 tablet, so you should be golden. There should be an adapter with the RSX that allows it to be connected to your existing hotwire.

I will take that as a yes then. I suppose it wont hurt to try either way. I just don't want to be stuck in the default setting if I buy it. Later on I will upgrade the hotwire. Thank you sir.

The RSX will work with the original hotwire on both laptop/computer and Android devices(with the proper OTG cable linking Device to hotwire).

Just wanted to chime in and say that this esc is still doing great. I have been using it in the 17.5 2wd buggy class and the information you get from the data logs are invaluable. I am no longer guessing on how changes effect the car but rather using solid data to make decisions. One of the big things is that I used the data logs to evaluate my current stable of 17.5 motors and was able to find the fastest one out of the bunch and then further use the information to dial it in for the track. Huge props to Tekin for bringing such an innovative feature to the market! Now I just need to hone my skills a bit more and move up to mod where I can use the potential of this beautiful piece of hardware!

Default Motor temps in data logs

I'm not getting accurate motor temps in the data logs. The temp shows a constant 70 degrees the whole run and it def getting hotter than that. The speedo works fine and all other data is in the logs. Any ideas why?
The motor is a Tekin gen2 6.5.

Yes. I used the Pro2 5100kv in my 22SCT to win the Outback Shootout at Amainhobbies.com track a few weeks ago. I ran it in dual mode with no timing advance, geared at 19/87.

This means your motor does't have a temp sensor inside of it. There are a few out there that do not.
