I've been running the saddles since September. They have great power.

So I've been using my 4300mah shortys for a while now, and they had great punch for a little while, but now after about a minute or two of running, the punch is gone.

They're ok batteries, but next time I get new lipos, I think I'm going to pay the extra for nicer packs.

What would be better? Promatch? Thunderpower?

Dunno, we'll see when the time comes for new packs. They work ok for the time being.

Stay away from thunder rc power packs, a couple guys at our track has had their 4s packs swollen and split the case badly. They advertise a 2 yr warranty, but they what to charge you $100 for a replacement after just 8 months usage.

Depending on your situation it may be worth buying the 4600/70c race edition shorty, the 4300/50c is a budget pack and doesn't have the punch of the big boy,the 4300 isn't recommended for stock racing either, if that's what your running, just make sure your bullets are nice and tight also, this could be a factor.

I saw one on the motors a couple weeks ago. It could have been end of December.

The motor thread died about the time Danny was banned from posting here. If you have motor questions feel free to post them here. I am currently running his new 13.5 Motors in my 22T and 22SCT, I have an 8.5 in my other 22SCT and a 6.5 in my new 22-4. I think they run great and I like the price even more.

I would love to see how the motors, especially 17.5 will compare to other motors. Also, any specific ETA on the square packs?

No specific ETA as of yet, All Danny knows for sure is that they should be available to him by the end of February.
