I think you should ask this in the b4.2 thread. unless you get a bigger ma lipo then you would want to gear down for a couple of run to test out the bigger ma lipo. if it make any sens to you.

I do :P I run the highest ratio of 34/69. It is a bit hot so I would say a little lower on the pinion with the 69 spur is a good match. I only run stock no timing tho.

I actually don't have any answer.
I wanted to try the 4S 4600 70C packs, but I can't register on the site, I'm french and I can't find France in the list.
Maybe they don't ship in France ?
Thanks,
Bye !

Hi there, Danny doesn't have a distributor in France but he will ship to you via UPS, contact him here. [email protected]

Cheers Justin

Has anyone had any experience with the SM-1 motor? I've been using an outdated Epic based 7.5 and I'm trying to get a motor with about the same power so I'm thinking an 8.5 will do it. Does anyone have any ideas about it?

I'm running a 6.5 SM-1 motor in my DEX410.

I don't think power will be an issue. I run a small track and have the forward power in the ESC turned down to 60%.

They are OK - I have 2 of them. I would say a little underpowered.

i have a 10.5 and have never needed more power. I regularly out power people during races. I've been pretty happy with it.

Well, I guess I can just get the 8.5 None of the tracks I drive on are very large so it should be fine!

Now I just need to choose between the shorties or saddles -.- decisions decisions…

I have used there 10.5 it had more torque and less rpms than my d3.5. You just have to hear a little higher.

Hi, I'm totally new to this, just ordered a Savage Flux and a 308duo icharger. So I need some batteries. I was looking at a pair of SMC 2s 6500 70C, or a pair of 3s 5600 60C. What is going to be the best for my truck and me. I was leaning towards the 2s because everyone says the truck runs great on them, but my cousin just got a Vorza and he thinks 3s and turn it down a little is the way to go. I will mostly just be fooling around, no monster bashing (yet!! ) I think the SMC are the way to go, mostly because of the activity of Danny in the boards. It shows a pride, and a desire to produce a great product. Any and all help appreciated!
