Tekno NB48

I'd just clean the outer myself. To anyone fairly new to nitro, I highly recommend a light outer filter kind of cover. It's basically like a panty hose kind of material, and it DRASTICALLY reduces air filter mainteance.. Here in Germany they're called Robitronic Dirt Bags. What brand names are available to you I don't know..

Yes two motor positions you are correct
Most of us are running in forward position as we are not lacking rear grip and it keeps better mid corner speed as well
Yes heaps of steering

You won't be disappointed in the NB48

TeknoRC thought it was a one off, and no one else has mentioned it here. I couldn't fix it. Just ordered a fresh tank. Needed a new one anyway because I didn't cut enough of the pipe wire mount away and it started chewing into the bottom front corner of the tank.

I pulled the car apart to clean it. I will check later and let you know if those screws have loosened.

I think someone here asked about replacement filters. I was trying to wait for Tekno to release theirs but mine was damaged last weekend and I needed to replace it with something. I bought a pair of Protek "DustBuster" OFNA/HoBao air filters. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...o-Air-Filter-2
The inner filter seems identical if not a hair thicker and the outer looks to be a little thinner but this should be a good replacement until Tekno has them available.

Thanks yeah I've heard of them. They are called "Outwears" in the USA. Looks like a great option to cut down on air filter maintenance. It's not straight forward how to measure for a proper fit, I'm going to call them to discuss how to measure and order the correct cover. For those interested you can find them here...

Take the long rolls and cut them half. Wrap once around the filter and overlap about 3/4", done. A roll lasts a LOOONG time.
