Hi!
I'm looking for good starting point with that engine.
My set is:
1S HW 2.1 120A (latest modified soft for that speedo, can be done on stock)
4.5T Speed Passion V3.0 engine
Car is 1/12 scale
Any settings?
Regards!

Is it safe to shorten the receiver & switch wires on a Xtreme Stock esc?
The reason I ask is because I want to do a neat install & wiring job in a touring car and the wires are longer than they need to be.
I will be shortening the wires outside of the esc.
Cheers
Rob.

No problem at all Rob just be very careful when soldering and desoldering the rx wire off the board .

Cheers

Hi There
I have just moved up to mod class at our local track its very high grip but quite small so im running no boost or turbo. With a 4.5 v10 motor and v3 speedo my issue is..
During the run about halfway in my car seems to develop more drag brake to the point where the car is almost stopping in the middle of a corner.
If anyone can help it will be really appreciated and sorry if this question has been asked before.
THANKS

Guys,
I posted this in the other Hobbywing threads but wanted to share here as well. I created a setup sheet that is an editable PDF to track my ESC and motor settings. Thought I would share it with others to help share settings and information.

Good Luck.

Can you clarify this for me? The HW N/A site says: approval pending, this has me on the fence for purchasing.

Hi guys just some info listed below about sensor errors.
Red-Yellow/orange -green illumination on the esc is sensor error which actually is red - green just because it switches so fast its seems there is a yellow/orange and depending if it sunlight or dark shaded areas that your looking at it from.
Well anyway because we use 100% pure sensored signal from time to time you will get the errors for the following reason.
1. Sensor cable is faulty or come loose from either the motor or esc plus even a wire might have come our of the plug.
2.You motors rotor is not shimmed close enough to the sensor board halls sensors.
3.Hall sensors are damaged on the motor sensor board.
95% of the time the issues occur from the points sbove and not thr esc or its software.
I hope this helps you guys to understand how the whole sensor errors work and what to look for when the error does occur.
Thats with all the 1/10th xerun series.
For the sct pro and the xerun 1/8th both those esc's their software is designed to run a dual mode system were sensored is used on initial starting torque and then switches to sensorless mode during the run to avoid the large electro magnetic fields that the larger 4 pole motors produce so once in neutral on the throttle or on the brake the system switches to its original state of sensored etc etc until the initial torque has built up them sensorless once again
