A Hobbywing SCT Pro works great.

  • spur gear will have a center bearing
  • ring locators will be attached to the spur
  • going to try and have the outside assembly oring sealed
  • also working on a spec spring

Cost will obviously be slightly higher but this thing will be wicked!!

How opposed are you guys to switching to MOD 1 pinions? I know it is a change but i can machine a much nicer, stronger tooth profile with MOD1 and since Delrin is more efficient than molded plastic performance will not suffer. On top of that its pretty hard to strip a MOD1 spur gear even with a loose setting!
You guys are the reason for the V2's success so your input is valuable to me. RCShox is merging with another company for 2014 so new machines are coming and FINALLY i will have some help, up until now its been just me.

Locally SC has been dead for this year! So we will need some dependable fast and very technical test guys to help in the development of the V3 Cdif and i have a few more items for this truck in the works!
Marcus, great news. My V2 cDiff has been working great and has made my SC10 4x4 competitive again. I would vote for Mod 1, because of the added strength (reliability), more people have Mod 1 gears and 32P is so ... Traxxas. lol

Anybody have the pics of the quick way you can take the transmissions out? I seen them posted a while back but could not find them in a search.

Which one? Front, rear or both? I need to rebuild both my tranny's so I hope to take some photo's of the process (removing the tranny's).

Both, I know a while ago there was pics posted of a very easy way of doing the process on this thread but have searched for them and came up empty. Anybody know where those photo's would be?

Cain, you need to get another SC10 4x4. 4x4 has been dead at my track but recently it is starting to pickup again (we had 5 entries last week). And the top truck was an SC10 4x4, (not me) which beat out a Durango and a couple of Losi SCTE's. So hopefully I can start racing my 4x4's again.

this may have been covered somewhere in the 2,000+ pages here but is it possible to convert the sc10 4x4 to a 1/8th buggy?

I have seen vids of this on youtube.

Also, there is a vehicle out there that looks like a knock off SC104x4 that is a 1/8 buggy. Maybe what you are looking for.
