SC10 4x4 Thread
Merry Christmas and happy new year to you guys!
V3 center dif is in the making! Should have the CAD work done in a few weeks!
Cost will obviously be slightly higher but this thing will be wicked!!
How opposed are you guys to switching to MOD 1 pinions? I know it is a change but i can machine a much nicer, stronger tooth profile with MOD1 and since Delrin is more efficient than molded plastic performance will not suffer. On top of that its pretty hard to strip a MOD1 spur gear even with a loose setting!
You guys are the reason for the V2's success so your input is valuable to me. RCShox is merging with another company
for 2014 so new machines are coming and FINALLY i will have some help, up until now its been just me.
Locally SC has been dead for this year! So we will need some dependable fast and very technical test guys to help in the development of the V3 Cdif and i have a few more items for this truck in the works!

- Billet Delrin machined 61t spur gear or MOD1 equivalent (only one gear will be available)
- spur gear will have a center bearing
- ring locators will be attached to the spur
- going to try and have the outside assembly oring sealed
- also working on a spec spring
Cost will obviously be slightly higher but this thing will be wicked!!

Which one? Front, rear or both? I need to rebuild both my tranny's so I hope to take some photo's of the process (removing the tranny's).
Cain, you need to get another SC10 4x4. 4x4 has been dead at my track but recently it is starting to pickup again (we had 5 entries last week). And the top truck was an SC10 4x4, (not me) which beat out a Durango and a couple of Losi SCTE's. So hopefully I can start racing my 4x4's again.
Also, there is a vehicle out there that looks like a knock off SC104x4 that is a 1/8 buggy. Maybe what you are looking for.
