Some of us don't race on medium to high bite all year long. I'll wait to see what MM does on low traction. Not saying RM is better but I'll wait to see when we go back outdoors.

I see the good drivers getting the most benefit out of the MM cars, mediocre drivers like myself wont see much, if any improvement (on indoor clay) I tried MM when I had my Durango, and am consideribly faster with my RM B4.2

You just need a little more time to realize ....

Plenty of grip with MM ...

Outdoors ? slippery ? There too ...

You will be tuning more however to get the best grip ....

Everyone told me when I tried Bellingham @ Mikes
the MM will fail to hook up .

They have less then med grip , very dusty too .
I did not so good from no practice .
But my ride was fine .

No one had even seen a Centro yet .

Told um all they will have a MM after December ...
They laugh at that ....

So ?
Sent Matesa & J W with their MM last Saturday and they were the fastest . 1st & 2nd qualifier's with their MM..

Nate Clark was just like you till now , he did not believe me .
JW & Matesa change his mind .
Is building one right now as we speak ..

Hey Cherry, I don't think you realize how loose some outdoor tracks are. I've been to Mike's in Bellingham, and that's high traction compared to the outdoor tracks in my area.

Last week I went to R&L Hobbies in Tonawanda Buffalo, I didn't see one MM buggy there. That track was quite slippery too unless you have the right tires (super-soft Ions). I'm not saying for sure that MM wouldn't work there, but if there are 25-30 guys all running rear motor, well, what do you think that means?

Sorry... Raced on every outdoor track in Eastern WA for many years ..
Have mass experience & a really good idea what traction is like outdoor..

You guys will also figure it out over the next few months .

None like to change till they see it for them selves on the track they run on .

I don't think a track where Ion's are used is anywhere near "loose" like I know loose to be lol. On just about all of our outdoor tracks, tires like Calibers are king. Hell Ion's were loose on our indoor track unless it was dry and grooved up. IMO any track that can run bar type tires is far from "loose". But that's just my .02

I just wish the RM B4.2 would come out with another update. With center mount esc, updated hard arms, ball cups, tapered pistons, centro conversion with nice chassis and ability to run shorty or saddles, B4.2 needs a refresher package. Some items I listed are just tuning options and B4.2 it is still a good car but.....I think when you have all these upgrades, time to get them into an updated package as they did with the 4.1 to 4.2. Should be like cars, every year a new model, little tweaks here and there with the occasional full body redo every 4 or 5 years.

+1 I would agree with that our local track its loose we run Calibers. No one there runs the MM and a few of them have tried them there, its a big track that's not very smooth at all LOL but that's just at our local track

So.......What would happen if you ran a Centro chassis, but in rear motor configuration. With a 3 gear trans and B4 rear shock tower, just with an aluminum chassis and different mounting positions for the electronics....plus the option to run saddle packs.

I was thinking the same thing while in the toilet yesterday. Take the centro chassis an turn it in to a rear motor buggy??
