The brake strength is adjustable on virtually all digital radios. Throttle low EPA or brake EPA will do it. The throttle speed is adjustable on the 4pls, 4pks, 4pks-r, mt-4, m11x, & m12 (& I assume others). I run a dx3r pro (EPA adjustments, but no speed adjustment on just the throttle side the way the Futaba & Airtronics do it) so I only adjust my brake EPA from the transmitter. I set the brake (& reverse seperately, when used) strength slightly higher than I typically want it for actuall use in the car (75%-90%) & then back off the EPA on the transmitter to fine tune the brake strength on the track. I check & adjust as necesary before each heat. There are times I would like to adjust this during the race, but the dx3r pro can only bind the throttle high to a switch, not the throttle low.

I have finally dialed in my B44.2 to a point where I am enjoying the car on the track. Took me a few races and I learned something: When your car starts getting snap steer off throttle, it may not be your driving style or setup. It just might be that your transmission housing has cracked at the bottom and you have excessive chassis flex causing said off throttle snap steering.
Of course once that's fixed BBbrrrrraaappp!

I sent him the parts and he machined them because he didn't have any in stock and everyone was out. Mailed them 2 weeks ago and got an email yesterday that they should be done today. He knocked $35 off the cost since I furnished the parts. Probably the quickest way to get it done until he can get some gears in stock.

So you just sent him the 2 DEX410 pinions and the 2 B44 shafts ?

I have been talking with him aswell and he also told me that he wont have any kits until he can get parts. Its funny that you mentioned that you sent him parts to machine. Because I was thinking the same thing.

The Fuse ESC works fine in a wheeler, they are actually a lot smoother
than most people think. Make sure you set the Start Power, Throttle
Speed and timming back to there lowest settings. Also you will NEED a
fan. Either the Castle or Dynamite motor will work I just prefer the 3800.
It will also need to be geared up several teeth beyond the normal 6.5-8.5
gearing.
Here are my ESC settings
1.Brake Strength-3 (I would run this as low as possible to keep strain off the
diff gears)
2.Drag Brake-1= 0%
3.Throttle Speed-1= Very Soft
4.Start Power-1= Very Soft
5.Reverse Power-1= 0%
6.Run Mode-1= Forward Only
7.Motor Timing-2 =soft
8. Battery-4= light lipo discharge
