Hello guys, I'm new to hobbywing esc and electric car.
I have a v2.1 and I want to learn something about this esc, working mode, firmware update (original firmware, mod firmware?).
I don't know which possibilities offers the firmware to get the best from my esc, but I know that the world about these firmwares is so big, where can I read something ?
Thanks.

hi I have a HW 1s that I bought second hand, the seller did not include the heatsink. Will I need the heatsink if I were to run 2s 10.5t pan cars and TC? Or will a bracket + fan be OK? If not where can I get the heatsink separately? Thanks.
edit: I have some heatsinks cannibalize from a dead pc. Will that work if I stuck it on with heat grease + ratchet ties? (ugly but don't know where to get heatproof double sided tape).

OK, a bit of an "out there" question. Does anyone know where I can get new bearings for the Hobbywing Xerun motors?
I have a couple of Hobbywing Xerun motors that still work good except the bearings are starting to get a bit noisy, and I'd like to be able to just replace the bearings rather than having to get a new motor.
Cheers
Rob.

It states: Size: 3.175mm(Internal diameter) * 9.525mm(External diameter) * 3.967mm(Height)
I'd go grab the right size from your favourite supplier.
Phil.
Hi guys
Just to let you know i dont have a confirmed date of release of the updated v10 motors series orvthe confirmed roar approval date.
I can confirm we do have a bandit series of the v10 coming soon for club racing or for racers who want enormous power but dont run sanctioned events.
We also have a special esc to be released next feb 2014 in time for titc and special for zero timing .it will be called the HW Zero based around the v3.1 series.
Thanks for reading guys
Angelo
