After getting some more trigger time in with my buggy, I'm still struggling with setup. By adding some anti-squat and making a couple other changes, I managed to get a little more traction in the rear. However, the car is still really unpredictable and hard to drive. My friend drove it and had the same complaints. I'd almost go so far as to say the car is stiff and bouncy but I think unpredictable describes it better. I'm running ae 32.5wt oil in the rear with stock piston and white spring; same setup in the front except I'm using the black spring. I'm gonna try going down to 30wt in the rear. Any other changes I should make?

Is the same but it has the upper spacers built into the area where the shocks mount. H top of the B4.2 tower is about .070" thicker than the previous part...all added to the back side of the tower.

Try:

Front: 1.6 pistons with green springs and 30wt
Rear: 1.6 pistons with white springs and 27.5 wt

Are you running any weight in the car? this will help settle it down also.

Any suggestions for me in shocks since I'm running a full stick pack, 17.5T, medium grip indoor track?

Tend to chassis slap a lot and going off jumps just end up crashing on the other end, seems like there is not enough launch from my shocks.

Thanks for the tips. I'll try 27.5. Jeff, I have the rear ballast weight and that's it. I'm also running a full size battery with the thick pad up front.

Will this work on the B4.2 without other parts and do you recommend this upgrade? My stock slipper is about done.

No problem,

there really is no correct answer for set up. With us east coat guys you need to take into account the temperature...most race nights it's 50* or less in the building I race at. The 30 Front, 27.5 Rear is what most guys run, some will even run 27.5 front and 25 rear. it all depends.
