The team is all running the RSX this week at worlds. Any ETA info will be shared after the event is over. What you see in all the media coverage is production unit save for some fan shroud parts.

I'll share some data logs of their performance once I get the thumbs up from the boss if some of you are interested to see where Lutz, JR Mitch and the rest of the team is running temp wise. FYI, both of those guys are using 5.5's in 4wd mod buggy.

As always team drivers will get this equipment before public release so if you have a team driver check out his/her car as most will be getting them shortly after Worlds.
Giving some thoughts to the new HB Wheeler and think this may be the ESC of choice, I plan to for the most part just run an 7.5 - 8.5, but I also have in the "garage" a pro2 5800 that I like to run in my 22 SCT. If I were to for some reason re-purpose that motor into a 1:10 Wheeler would this ESC be happy about that or not happy about that? Because every now and then you just have to drive it at maniac speeds.

I saw that today and couldn't believe it. I'm assuming they think club members will use the club perks an still think they got a deal. I'm a club member but its not worth it. I back ordered one today through amain.

Tower is like that - their price is always higher than other places (even with club discounts) until the item is in stock and old stock is sold off.

When the RX8 Gen2 combos were first available on Tower they were $389 while the Gen1 combos were only $339. Now that all the Gen1 combos are sold out on Tower, the Gen2 combos are $339 (which is $289 with club discount).

Yup it will work with the pro 2 as long as it's not in a heavy rig.

Comparing specs to the RS gen 2, Im not seeing much difference only in the ability to run lower turn motors with the RSX and the obvious heat sink body. I run the sc10 and usually only run a 9.5 at my track, but may throw in an 8.5 every once in a while, so should I go with the RS gen 2 or the RSX?

I run a 8.5 in my 22-SCT and not problems at all. You can go either way with what you are running but you do not need an RSX. The RSX filling the need for a pure mod speedo for lower turn mod motors.
