NEW HOBBYWING STOCK SUPERCHARGED SOFTWARE
Is it possible to disable the "power off after holding brake for 5 seconds" function on the esc? This functionality means this esc is unusable on tracks that have sloped starting positions where you need to hold brake to stop rolling... It's not good having your car turn off on the starting grid

is there any way to program the V3.1 1s without the program box? or does it ship in blinky mode?
i ordered what i thought was going to be a refurbished 2.1 1s which I would have been happy with and received a shrinkwrapped v3.1 1s instead. definitely happy though seems to not be roar approved? lol.
I do plan to buy the box for it but was hoping to get this going for friday. this town is mostly tekin.

I have the latest software in the multifunction lcd program box, v1.14_130508 but I cant update my esc firmware v3.1 121129Beta is this the latest? I dont get any newer up in the program but it looks like there should be newer on the hobbywing site.

Blinky is pretty simple. There's no boost or anything to worry about so it's really about how the ESC feels. I like hard braking and for the lower end to be a bit punchier.
Angelo, what are your thoughts on people running more or bigger capacitors on their ESC? Will I notice any effect running in blinky 21.5 and 17.5 from changing what is already equipped with my Justock and V3.1 Extreme stock?

The stock software gives you the most amount of timing/boost options, cuz it's assuming you're running a stock motor (10.5+). Thus, you'll be needing more boost/timing outta the ESC, rather than getting more power from the actual motor.
The Mod software gives you fewer tuning options, cuz it's assuming you're running a low turn motor (4.0-6.0ish) and it doesn't want you to overheat the motor or the ESC, hence why some timing/boost options are disabled in the Mod software.
You could also, if you like, use either the mod or the stock software and just set timing and boost to 0. That way, the ESC will still blink as if it were in blinky mode, but if you wanted to add some boost for a super stock class or something, you could also have that option.
