This past weekend I had the unique opportunity to run Jeff Beck's EB48.2 at a three day event in Sarver, PA for the annual race against cancer.
I think Jeff is on rctech as cpt_RedBeard, so if you've seen his posts about the ins and outs about this vehicle, LISTEN TO THEM. His buggy is so easy to drive, it jumps flat, it lands soft and never gets a ton a chassis slap on landing like what i've experienced with the current chassis I run. His car rotates on command with only slight throttle input necessary.
Overall it was a fantastic preview of the car for me as I am currently in the market for a new 1/8th scale buggy. With the new mugen coming out soon, the new Losi hitting the shelves, the overall swarming (or slithering) of serpent buggies in my local area, i fully believe that the EB48.2 in the right hands can become the car to beat.
Jeff has been a big contributor to the knowledge-base of this vehicle and he is always willing to assist other drivers when they have questions about proper setup, or build questions, I hope he sees this post and can post his current setup sheet or some pointers on how to make your EB48.2 as dialed as his is.
I'll have a Tekno EB48.2 of my own soon after this previous weekend's rent-a-ride.

Update your shock shaft guides to the new ones. They are a bit thicker and keep the shaft from moving and damaging the shock shaft guides allowing it to leak part number (tkr6008)

I like Schumacher cougar KR Cus its kinda like Tekno company small independent but everyone says tlr 22 2.0 but I feel like that's selling out but I also want a 2wd SC and losi had both.

Hi,
This message is for Tekno RC :
Can you tell me if you can send me via PM, the e-mail address of your designer, or your designer office e-mail ?
As you maybee know, I will produce my own parts soon, and I'm actually drawing the EB48.2 parts.
I have seen a little problem with your differential design, so it just for your information, I just want to help you to improve to next batch...
I can explain the problem here, but I don't think it's a good idea to show the "secret" to the other brands...
Thanks
Bye !

Ummm.... Why don't you just pm tekno yourself because now it's like 3rd grade in here, you told everyone about a secret but won't tell anyone what it is.

Ummm too... because I had the experience with Team Associated : I send them e-mails, and because I have not any answer I don't know if somebody has already read my mails. I don't think my mails have been transmitted to the designer office, maybee because it was via the "customers" (general) address.
I'm just a little unknown designer, so I don't want to send Tekno a mail via the "general" address, because I don't know if they will really show it to the right "department" (design).
But I think Tekno is more professional than Associated, about it's customers service, then maybe you are right.
Bye !
