If you gone though the trouble to tear down the shock replace the oil.
Replace o-rings every 2 weeks?! and replace oil daily at big races?! Holy cow you must be extremely anal or really hard on your stuff! I'm still on the original o-rings that came with the kit, purchased 4-5 months ago...and I race weekly! No air in my shocks, no dirt in my oil....No reason to swap them out!

And changing oil every day of an event just seems extremely tedious to me...hell if you're going to that extreme, why not between each round? Would be a lot more consistent run to run I would think.

Some of the stuff I read about people doing just seems extremely overboard lol

sometimes if your at a big race you can be sitting around for a long time inbetween heats. sooo.. that is a great time to tech your car and top off oils. if your sitting around chatting with pros and your friends, you might as well do something dureing and get that car a1 100% ready to go. chances are you dont have much else to do. if you were to have car problems dureing that race other than breaking an arm or something... that is embarasing to say the least

p.s. i have never met anyone who is at the track and racing more than George Cherry. 100's and 100's of laps a week no joke

sometimes I feel with shocks if they are working then why mess with them. you top them off, etc. they spring a leak.....shoot should of left them....or I am just lazy with shocks, maybe I should step up my shock love.
