Tekno SCT410 Thread
As the sun droops the moisture comes back to the top and it is really hooked up in the groove. Setup was super critical, and I didn't have it. I was running Tekno black springs on the front and yellow on the rear. I proly should have gone up to the greens in the front as I had way more steering than I needed.

The setup was really good in the qualifier before but it was a lot looser during the day.
This truck is so sensitive to setup changes... I like that a lot! If you know what your doing, you can really make this truck work anywhere. (I just wish I knew what I was doing) LOL I'm still learning.
It was by far the most loose that track has been in a while. Typically we water the heck out of it and the track is super high bite with lots of loam out of the groove. The track has a fair amount of sand and clay mixed with black dirt.

I think most on here are using wheels for the SCTE.
I use only the SC10 4x4 wheels since I had lots already. Just watch out for using any SC10 +3mm wheels... they will make the SCT410 too wide and the tires will rub on the body.

It's only too wide when used with the +1mm hexes correct? Based on the info posted on the first page.
No, the +3mm wheels by themselves are too wide. I think the SC10 4x4 wheels are the same offset as SCTE wheels but sc10 was just narrower so then they started making +3mm wheels to get it to the max.
correct. That's why I now use the aluminum Zero offset wheel hex's (same as the kit plastic wheel hexes). And I don't use any +3mm wheels on the SCT410... I keep those wheels for my SC10.2
So what wheels is everyone running? Losi or the SC10/slash offset wheels with spacers?
My used 410 came with some wheel spacers, so I'm not sure which to go with. Obviously the sc10/slash offset is wider, but not sure what works best.

Does anyone have any problems running the +3mm JConcpets AE wheels on the 0 offset hexes with your SCT410?
Yes I found out the hard way about the tires rubbing the body if the offset is wrong..I just bought a brand new pair of Slash AKA Cityblocks and didn't want them to go unused so I threw em on the 410.. It handles great but once again it's a really wide stance... The only set of SCTE offset tires and wheels I have are the AKA handlebars which unless the blue groove is showing are useless for our track..

I just bought a set of DE Trinidad +3 SC10 wheels for my Tekno with aluminum hexes. I'm running the Jconcepts Illuzion hi flo body and it doesn't rub. The front BARELY rubs at full suspension compression, but the rear is a good 1-2mm away from rubbing at full compression. I really love the added stability it's given me around fast sweeping turns!
