ok, no offence to avid, JC or anyone else. but wtf. 10+ year the car has been out and now we get all of the goodies. even rpm, really 10+ year for the arms, lol. I just hope the car is around for the next couple years to recoupe the r&d. I would guess that the b5 is about 12-18 months out. "If" the tlr22 2.0 is all the "claim", ae might see a lot of people moving over until the b5 comes out. Not saying the b4 is bad, but people want shiney. And if it is as consistent as they say, people might actually stay with the 22 2.0 this time. Me? I plan to own both. The b4 is my wife and the 22 my mistress, lol.

I think AE should sub out the design of the B5 or whatever they're gonna call it to Avid, they seem to been on the fore front of addressing the B4's weaknesses and making solid, useful products for them, not just bling.

Avid slipper
steering crank ( now standard on B4.2)
now the motor centering kit and esc shelves...
pretty cool stuff in my opinion!

The guys at avid were the eng's at ae when AE wasn't innovating. They got ideas, shelved them, made Avid and brought those ideas to life when AE was too afraid to let them push their innovation. "We at AE will rest on our 10 yr old design because we have drivers that will keep putting our product on the podium. When someone comes along and out drives our drivers with innovation then, and only then will we REACT and take the innovation that's beating us and adapt it to our aged platform. THEN our top drivers will triumph again!" - Area 51. Lol

If you don't like what AE is doing, go drive something else....If you decide to keep the b4....then stop complaining about how it's not new, because apparently they have done a good enough job to keep you buying the car.

Kurt is the only one still in RC.

And since I know they are reading (avid)
Where's the left hand 4-40 screws yet for the right rear shock eyelet?
The 4-40 pre machined aluminum front brace?
The dogbone pucks?

Make them so AE has an idea of what to make 6 months later!

So what is considered the hot piston right now for rough extra-low traction tracks?

1.7 all around, with 1 limiters front and rear, white springs front and rear, and 32.5 rear and 27.5 front oil. Maybe the 4x1.3 are something to try.

thanks. I should add this would also big for big jumps found on 1/8 tracks as well so may need the pack back lol.

hmm, maybe some 1.3s or the avid 1.5 x 1.1s as an option too?
