To hell with all that, I simply converted to TLR cups as they are much more robust and heavy duty than anything for Associated cars, even the RPM stuff, AND the fit onto the ball studs is as precise as anything so it eliminates at least 90% of slop from the ball studs. The only thing better are straight ball links which is where I'm headed back to in the future.
I also had several dozen of the TLR Cups and Studs in my box of spares that I never got around to needing so it was a no brainer.

My experience with the JC cups was not the best. First they really should have made the holes a little bigger. Even when you grease them they can pop off when adjusting them. I have never had an issue with ball cups when I used the RPM. Not saying they are bad, just that they did not work out for me. I switched to Lunsford.

Look through the Manual. They're just the stock cups but they are so much better than anyone else's cups. So much intricate detail throughout.

LOL.
Sticking with my RPM's for now. Might try the Jconcepts on the centro 4.2 since I have a set sitting.

Explain to us why you think they are terrible? I've never tried them so I don't know. I have tried the stock ones (pretty lousy), RPM (not bad at all), and Dubros (super sturdy but require some work to get them smooth). Currently running Dubros for the camber link in the back and RPM long shanks everywhere else.
