Which front tires are more aggressive, ribbed or bar type tires? My jc green rips seem more forgiving and less twitchy compared to my green barcodes making it easier to drive on certain tracks. Just curious if this is normal for most people.

I feel that the treaded-ribbed front tire is solely dependent on track. It's best to have both and find out for yourself what works. Driving style also effects the front tire choice.
It seems like a treaded barcode or scrub works fantastic on a packed surface, but is awful on anything with loam, dust, or loose dirt.
The JConcepts Rips are the most consistent front tire I've ran. They don't seem as edgy or aggressive as your standard 3 or 4 rib front tire like the Proline 4-rib or the JConcepts Groovy.
I have personally never gotten my B4.1 or B4.2 to turn on a treaded front tire. The tracks I run on and my driving style just don't cater to anything but Rips.
On another note a few pages back, everyone was flipping out about the camber link rubbing on the rear shock bodies. I just finished up my B4.2 minutes ago. Has anyone mounted their hub towers like I have? I just moved it to the rear of the hub, which moved it 2-3mm. It look's a little goofy, but I'd rather have free movement.

or just sharpy them... lol. because of all my avid bling, my car is mostly black. if I got red washers and front pin brace, then the hubs would look fine. the red and blue mixed is not great looking though.

Ok I want to confirm what I believe to be true. The transmission housing for the gear diff and ball diff are the same. Correct?
So if I want to convert from a gear diff to a ball diff I need the ball diff (outdrives, rings, main gear, balls etc) and that's it. Is that also correct?

Make sure you buy the "sc10 ball diff" it's what fits the metric bearings.

Thanks. It's actually cheaper to buy the parts separately for some reason. So follow up question: ASC7677 Diff Rebuild Kit includes balls. Are those the diff balls or the thrust balls? The photos seem to show 6 balls so I'm guessing they are the thrust balls but thought it best to confirm.
And I guess another question would be is the MIP kit better than the AE kit? I would get BFast but AMain doesn't sell them and I'm putting together an AMain order.

Love the vertical ball stud. Maybe I get a set and get them black anodized with stuff from work.
