I guys I have some problems with my rx8. When I turn it on, I have to wait 10 or more seconds before the motor moves when I press my throttle. Before these seconds, when I press my throttle, the motor doesn't move but the servo does and the throttle and brake LEDs on my rx8 both are correct. How do I fix this?

It takes a few seconds to arm, you will hear it chime and then a second or so later your ready to go.

That's normal.

Last time I started it up, it took nearly a minute to arm.

I've had that issue before, try recalibrating your esc to your radio.

Oh, that's not normal.
Like ekt said recalibrate. If that does not work, have you updated to the latest firmware?
If all else fails, do a master reset, pretty sure that's in the manual.
Maybe Tekin has some insight.

Check your neutral width. It may not be finding it. I had mine set at 10 and I had issues when arming. I'd get the first set of chimes but the second wouldn't happen. If I moved the throttle on my transmitter just a little it would finally arm. Reset the neutral width to 15 and haven't had an issue since.

It does sound like the unit needs to be re-calibrated and while your at it, double check your neutral width like mentioned before.

Either you didn't get a good radio calibration or your NW is set too low for the radio you're using. Try 20.

I haven't messed with my RX8 settings for a long time so how do I do a radio calibration and the neutral width?

Thanks guys!
