Big jumps arent a problem. I just make sure I dont case it on flat ground. I aim for the landing jumps. Overall handling is insane though. When the bite comes up I need to stiffen it a little.

Right when i was just about to order the serpent one. Good thing i didn't. Yay, don't have to dremel anything! Tekno did a great job listening to complaints and fixing them very fast.

Can you pm me your setup for semi loose conditions. I don't have the niceness of the Cali guys that run on perfectly groomed hard clay tracks.

Man, that's some thick oil with those pistons. I'm running 37.5/30 with mine.

I know. I use thicker oil to tone the car down a bit with the softer springs. I bounce between 40 and 45 front and stay with 35 rear. those oils with the soft spring combo works great. The lighter oil wasnt good. Car was darty.

When I tried thicker oils with those pistons it seemed like it had too much pack and made the car pretty numb. Just going from 40 to 37.5 in the front made a big difference. But hey, it's all about what works for YOU. Right?

That is true. I ran 37.5 front and 30wt. rear and the car was very twitchy. The track is proetty big and pretty rutted. The track doesnt have much flow to it but in areas that it does flow, it is rutted and the car will get squirly in the high speed rutted areas. The The lightest I can get away with is 40 in the front and 35wt in the rear. The stock pistons worked well but had a little too much pack. The 8 hole 1.3 overall worked a little better than the 10 hole 1.1 that came with my car. I dont tune the suspension for the jumps as I always hit the landing jumps. I tune for the rough and high speed sections. The softer springs also help as I can hit the jumps at higher speed. I dont have to pussyfoot as much. The softer springs keep the airtime down.

Im also diggin the power deivery of the HW SCT pro and the HW 2250. Feels really good. It really has improved my lap times as I spend alot of time mid throttle in the corners. The midrange is great. Not spongy.

What are you geared @ and what are your temps? I've got the same motor geared @ 15 and it feels a little wimpy compared to the 1900Kv i had before.

I have mine geared with a 16. My motor is coming off at 180 degrees. Its a little warm but it was also 92 degrees and humid as hell last time out I tried a 17 and the motor came off at 190-200 so I backed down to 16 again. This was also after a 15 minute practice run. Im sure in a 10 minute main I could get it under 180. I tried a 15 but the motor topped out immediatly and did feel slow like you say. It actually felt like a 1900. Once I geared up, it woke up and the temps stayed the same. The 17 actually felt the best but I didnt like the heat.
