Somebody requested i post pics of my xerun 150 amp & 2250Kv setup in my eb48. It was a tight fit, but it hasn't had any problems in the past 4 months i've raced this buggy.

It was probably me asking for pics as I was having fitment issues with my sp sav2. I also have some hw escs like yours but I ended up putting some clearance in the mud guard for the esc wires. Thanks for posting though.

What size pinion do most of you that use 1900kv motors end up using? I'm going to start with a 16t and go from there and adjust accordingly.

I think you will find the 16 too small, I usually run 17 or 18t.

It was actually another user who pm'd me about pics of the setup. Figured i'd post it here just so people can search and find it. I did do a little dremeling to give the esc wires some clearance, and even cut out a little spot in the body to keep the wires from rubbing.

I started with a 17t. On our outdoor track it wasn't quite enough down the straight, so I went to 18t without issue. I've contemplated trying a 19t a couple times, but haven't done it yet. If you have a very large track with a long straight, expect to try the 19t. If you have a small technical track or not much of a straight, expect to be in the 16t or 17t range with the 1900.

You don't have off power cornering issues with the thicker weight oil? I've been playing with some oil setups myself to see what I can find that works the best for my local track.

With heavy springs i do but not with lighter springs. I actually have a ton of steering every part of the corner but its not violent steering. Very controlable.

I did a nifty mod to fit the XERun 150 perfectly in the EB48
