Just got my EB48/SCT410 out today for the first time. Gobs of steering! Nice! Took a little bit to get used to but from there I came to enjoy it.

Only upgrade I can see right now for both is aluminum servo horns which I do with all vehicles regardless.

Very happy with performance...vehicles feel very stable on an outdoor track.

Can't wait to get more time with them.

I have a setup issue I need help with. I'm running the Curtis door setup with the exception of a few things. I'm running tekno yellow springs up front and reds in the rear and I'm running stock fluids and oils. The buggy is handling really well for the most part but any time I land flat off a jump, even a small one, the buggy slaps and gets real loose.

I do have to agree that the center driveshaft is very annoying and needs to be fixed asap. On another note with three new cars about to come out I really think Tekno needs to come up with a split center diff, this would certainly save time and make a lot of us very happy, especially the racers. What do you think Tekno?

I tried the +1.5 rear hinge block today in practice and liked it. It was a practice day so the track wasnt prepped so it was super loose conditions but the car was still great. I messed with my HW speedo settings and gearing and got the 2250 motor working great. I geared it t tall because the car was asking for more speed. I had to drop it down a tooth as the motor started clipping 200 degrees. I actually was able to run a 17 tooth pinion with the 2250, the thing is an animal.

The issue with the split center diff is that to do it we will have to drop the mechanical brake option. While not a huge issue (most people aren't running mechanical brakes) it still leaves those people who are running brakes without the added bonus of an easy to access center diff.

Make the current centre diff part of the options required to run mechanical brakes.

Make the split diff standard for the other 95% of drivers.

Yesterday was a club day with our new track surface. Very different, a few traction rolls.

Unfortunately I broke a front shock shaft in the warm up laps before the last main. Car didn't look right so I brought it in and the spring was gone. Found it and bowed out if the race. Only had the Vorza as backup and it was in the car, I couldn't be bothered stuffing around for a couple of mins racing.
