Sent you a PM. Its a program that allows you to run Windows OS which in turn allows you to run the Hotwire software.

We do not expect it to replace the T8. It is a specific built motor for those that are chasing the light and nimble side of 1/8E instead of raw power and hang on...

Oops wrong thread.. But still cool and goes with this controller so I will leave it.
I was hoping it was an update to the t8 Oh well.. Whats the plan with the t8? No one has any in stock. Are you just waiting to send them all out with the new RX8 or are they actually being updated?

Mine decided it would fall apart during a race as the 3 inner screws worked loose causing the endbell to fall off. Can't get the buggy going again until I find another motor. I'm wanting to keep it Tekin but just can't find any.

You can send the motor in for service as well. WWW.teamtekin.com/service.html

I should have checked again before replying! They must have recently come in as I couldn't find any about a week ago. Amains alert system doesn't work very well then either as I back ordered one.

Feel a bit silly now! Thanks anyway. Looks like i'll be putting my order in.

Yep, I looked at that option too. But i'm in Australia and the shipping costs will just make it not worth it. For slightly more I can buy a new one and have spare parts from my damaged motor (only the sensor board and rotor are damaged).

anyone know how much tekin would charge to replace the front piece of the motor where you screw it on? I managed to strip a hole somehow.

It would depend on which motor it was.

Quick question for a tekin rep. I don't see in any of the press releases on the new ESC have to solder posts been reinforced in any way? I've seen more melted RX8's from those breaking at the board mounting and touching each other allowing the special tekin magic smoke to be released then BEC' s going bad.
