is it fast and quick as the 4wd?
I fiind the said durability or lack there of on the 44.2 is just not true. They are indeed durable and my buddy notoriously crashes and flips his in ways you would certainly think it has to break and all he does is pop off ball cups every so often and that's it.

If I didn't want a damn Schumacher K1 or like the Durango 4WD so much I'd be getting a 44.2, which is still not out of the question. My best friend just put his 44.2 together and it's really nice. I do however detest the stock JConcepts body. I much Prefer the Bulldog.

It'a also been my experience that it's easier to drive a 4WD than it is a 2WD but a stock 2WD shouldn't take much time to get used to and learn to drive. I say if 2WD is what you want, go for it and run Stock until you fell you're ready to jump into Mod classes and then get a 4WD. You will immediately feel you're doing better with a 4WD after you've gotten proficient with a fast 2WD or even a quick Stock 2WD.

hey guys i wanna buy a B4.x, unfortunately it's nearly impossible to get a used B4.2 here and a new kit is too expensive for me Some guy here is selling his B4.1 with a few parts for round about 160 bucks. i know it's very expensive, but most people here won't ship to germany, so i have no choice.

It has:
- 2 front a-arms (composite)
- 2 rear a-arms (composite)
- caster blocks 20, 25 and 30°
- Bulkhead new
- Losi Wheels front and rear new (not hex)
- geardiff used
- Aluminium steering knuckles (maybe old ones that don't fit the B4.1??)
- shock repair kit
- 2 rear shocks
- front springs small bore: blue, brown, silver, green, black, gold
- rear springs small bore: blue, silver, grey
- 6x CVDs but for the B4
- 2 spoilers
- 1 unpainted body

it doesn't have the new VTS Slipper, +8mm Chassis and Bigbores do i need these features to be competitive on a small bumpy highgrip astroturf track?

B44 ones have 2 molded "ball studs" for anti-roll bars

I have to disagree with the 44.2 being durable compared to other brands. If you want to do 4wd go with the Kyosho 4wd. That thing can take a beating (not bashing.) I did find a 2wd buggy improved my driving, but I think 4wd did an even better job when I got control of it. At the end of the day, get what car there is a class for at your local track. No fun in having 2-3 cars in a class.

No. They are also available in 'in-between' winds though....such as a 7.0, 7.5, 8.0, 8.5.

I just bought a 4.2 for our high grip-carpet track. Grip is very much like your tracks over in Europe.
To keep things short...Look for a mid motor car. In my opinion..The b4.X can't use it's advantages on turf or carpet as it can on dirt. It's a great dirt car (I would say the best)...but there are too many other options for turf/carpet that you can probably pick up cheaper and more importantly...get replacement parts for in your location.
I grabbed a used dex210 to hold me over until the x-factory cube kit comes out for my 4.2. It's a really good car and I picked up a tenth average per lap with no knowledge of correct setup for it. All I did was switch it from rear to mid motor and put some springs and oil in it.

Not to steer you away from the ae on the ae thread....Just don't want you to get suck waiting for parts if they are hard to get over there.
Hope that helps.

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...nsert-Medium-2

How many sets of tires can I get out of these inserts before I have to replace them?

Do I punch holes in only rear tires?

(I will stuff 3/4 of a rear foam in the front tires)

Do I punch holes in the front tires?

What size holes?

Thanks!
