Please post your setups for the sc10 4x4 that come from racing outdoors in loose 1/8 scale conditions.

I was planning to look at Fluer's set-up sheet from the Psycho Nitro Blast to start.

Tires
Use what ever the faster drivers are using

Set-up

Start with John Walentia's Show Down set-up posted on www.rc10.com.

start out with first time on track

*can try extra ballast for extra grip & stability
(1oz on rear saddle pack and 1 oz on rear chassis wall next in ft spur gear)

*can try to raise the rear ball stud by adding 3mm, total height = 7mm
Will help control chassis roll more ...

You mention the Mc2 , if you buy?
start with 3 degree toe .
can try more toe but not recommended.
3 degree performs best . Don't have to buy a Mc2 as the kit is 3 degree and you can save some money..Your option though , its a great part IMO...

Rear 8mm camber mod

can post pictures for you on the Sc10 thread showing the mod.
If you need to see let me know ...

Not sure if your using a Team Edition or a RTR . Also if your using stick packs or saddle packs .

Include the ESC & motor & battery your using as well...
let me know how it goes , will do my all to help you.

Tom

Think about using a quad pad VTS...

Smoother and less wheel spin.

You sent me a setup that you yourself have used on a 1/8 scale loose track for the sc10 4x4?

Strange I don't seem to recall you sending me that ...

But as it is a great starting point for the conditions mentioned I am assuming please post that again, as I am sure you saved it and have been sending it to those who need it.

I have a triple pad installed today. I am also use the standard yellow pad for the front. Has anyone used the Garodisk for the front with the new VTS in whatever format?

Hi, this is my SC10 4x4.
It's almost stock non-FT version with VTS slipper, Exotek front clutch locker, alu belt pulleys and alu pin retainers.
I'm really happy with it in track, cos it's very well balanced and have nice landings after big jumps. Nice truck

nice truck! Have you tried the battery oriented more to the front, if so, what did you think about it?

Just order the complete FT garodisc kit, you dont have to modify or change anything just install , set and forget, they are designed to give you optimal acceleration in all conditions. You can run them loose and they will not glaze.

Thanks!
No, but when I will be on track, I will test it. But, as I said, with this layout is it very good balanced and rear tyres have same adhesion when you turning left or right.

Thanks Marcus. I've had my Garodisks for a while and always had issues with the front one. I got them before the VTS was released instead of the clutch basket. Now that I have the VTS on the rear side I was looking for experience with the VTS and a garodisk on the front. I have witness marks that the small brass spacer is contacting the disk and carrying the load so I get very poor control. In fact it slips easy with only 1/4"contacting the spacer. I've been meaning increase the whole size so that the spacer doesn't contact the disk allowing the disk to contact the hub. Do you have any experience with that?
