Durability was definitely a major focus this time around. It is used in some abusive applications…. Time will tell, but we think we have cornered most of the major demons.

Probably there's something more to come I was reading the rx8gen2 manual, in the recommended motor section they refer to new motors, T8i available in 2700, 1950, 1600, 1350kv.
As for the durability, my first rx8 is 3 years old, thousand runs, still running strong

Durability was less of an issue on the 3 holes RX8 version but still not the best so if this ESC is stronger it will be a very good thing already. The BEC is the biggest change and it will definitely help.

If Tekin comes out with lightened T8 motors in the same spirit as the PowerHD line for 4wd SCT it will be a hit too. I've had 6 of them and just the first one failed (rotor). The others were just awesome so I can't wait for new motors.

The kv range is very interesting for the T8i, is this confirmed by Tekin?
