Default 2nd race on truck

Well I got my 2nd race on the truck at The Pro Line shoot out in Maryland Saturday at the track race way. Qualified 7th in the A and after a bad start/hack attack. I worked my way back to 4th and ended up 5th after a good battle there. The track did not have a single area that was smooth bumps were all over. The truck was great. Here is the setup for the guy at the track that asked sorry I forgot your name. I ran nothing crazy small change from stock.

I got 11 mins on a nano 6000 pro 4 4600 tekin rx8 and for the sc10 hubs you got to file em down a lot on the back side if not they rub on the bearings and housings.

Thanks, hmm not sure if my 5600's would be enough then.

Default Hexxes

I filed down the back side of the hexes you have to take a lot off so when you tighten down your wheels it doesn't bind against your bearings and I was also going to put in a shim between the bearing and the pin to make sure.

Haven't raced it yet or seen if I'm faster yet or not but I seem faster smoother and can do our big jump that I can't even think about doing with the sc10. So far I'm happy with the truck it's fun driving short course again.

I like the Savox 1256 or 1258...they draw some power tho so you might need an external BEC depending on your esc or rx.

Im using a Reedy Sonic 550 4.0t....geared 16/44. ...I only run max throttle at 80% cause it rips. Granted im running on a medium size tight indoor track. I gotta do some more esc tuning but for now its punches good and has decent tq.

Hope that helps!

The 2 pole will work if you have it already, but if you are in the market, go 4 pole, more torque and run cooler.

Thanks for any info.
I already have Team SR carbon fiber towers that'll arrive Tuesday. I just Prefer to keep it Tekno specific though.

I run the Tekin SC4x 4.5 and love it. I have a 4400 pro 4 sitting in my box I dont use in favor of it even. Great motors, the only thing I changed out id the rotor. I am using the optional high torque in it.
