Hey I tried the clutch thing we talked about and it's much better. I think I'd like a bit earlier stall though so I'm going to back each shoe off 1/4 turn and see how that suits me.

exactly what I would do.....even put a small stagger in there..but tune from being slightly too aggressive then back it down as you feel it needs to be.......high grip will require a tighter clutch then a slick track will.....

Thanks Neal. That CRE Bonito is awesome! I only put 4 tanks on it after the brean-in service. I didn't have to touch a needle on all day. It ran perfect.

I had a buddy of mine time my second practice run and I got 9:42 seconds
with it in my truggy. I think thats great considering that was only my 6th tank on the engine. It can only get better from here.

Thanks Neal and John for a great engine and all your help.

It was between the Roma and a 28-7 and I ended up choosing the Roma so I can get better run times. I figure if I need a .28 I can get my ninja MR28 modded. Here's a thought though, you should make an option for a guy to get a free shirt or at least one at a lower cost when we make a substantial order

Oh and how has that werks fuel been working for you guys? I ordered the 3gallons figured I couldn't beat the price since the lhs sells the byrons race gen 30% for $50 a gallon

Got a question for Neal, it was mentioned today that there is no way a nitro buggy can hang with a e-buggy running a 1900kv brushless system. Do you think my P5 will hang with that setup? Obviously part is driver, but if that is taken out of the equation.

I used sidewinder pro 30 nitro 10% oil and that was the best i could get locally,i was then able to get werks or byrons on occaisson,i prefer the werks but Byron's is good too,i really like the coating werks leaves behind.

I have run my serpent 2.0 buggy with the nova P5 and 2058 pipe at our track countless times, funny enough i have also run the serpent ep buggy with a tekin 1900kv and 2 x 50c 5000 battery packs and the laps times are alsmost the some, the ep will take every corner apex and clear the jumps sections but the nitro carry's speed through the corner.

So the answer to the question is yes they can hang together on an off road track, once you hit the pavement the ep buggy is gone.

But the Nitro sounds so much better!! EP is super fast for sure but it's boring IMO. I love the tweaking and putzing time the nitro demands. Much more rewarding when you get it right.

On my track the Nitro's go faster then the electrics.....this is backed by a radar gun....the EP vehicle has more low end of course, but it doesn't take the nitro long to run them down,........

I can't wait to get my engines back and give it a whirl, figure the torque of the electric would be my only concern. Figure I should be about 10k rpm higher than the electric.
