Default Oil keep leaking from under head?

I have a .16 vertex engine (I know its junk) but I'm trying to make it last. It's only had a gallon through it and for some reason oil keeps spraying out from underneath the cooling head where it meets the sleeve. I have tried tightening the bolts as much as I can and it still sprays out . When my engine heats up, i can tell there is oil underneath as white smoke trails from underneath the head. How can I fix this? Is there some way to seal it?

If the shims (gasket) under your head button are in tact and look good, you might have a warped block or head button from head bolts being over tightened. Maybe one of the engine guys will chime in and confirm if this is fixable or not. I've never had the problem myself, but have heard of it...

I would say take head button off and check shims , probably a piece of metal stuck between shims

Check the exhaust. More often that is the reason with a bolted on manifold. A small leak shows oil on the 1st ring as it comes from under the head.
