The B4.2 is so good that we can try new stuff and still win races. I think this might be cheating though. I hear the dual speedo 17.5 is like running an 8.75, depending on the C-rating of your packs, of course. Pretty sneaky...

Yep. Some pdf's work ok, others, not so much.

This is the setup that I (Wayne Schroeder), Mitchel Gardner, and Nick Gibson all run on our cars at fastlane. We've done a LOT of testing and tuning to get there, and on saturday we were 1 2 3 in both qualifying and the main for 2wd mod, so it definitely works

Got my car assembled. Running an old school brushed setup in it.
19T Team checkpoint motor and HPI Blitz speed control. 21 pinion, 81 spur.
Tested it out and it work flawlessly with Lipo. Cant wait to get it on the track.
Just running brushed in it for now because I have to get used to driving it
before going brushless. Im confident I will like the class.
Car went together very nicely. Love the big bore shocks....

both good cars. The big question is can you afford the rb6 and all the required upgrades.

I had no idea you needed to add additional parts to RB6 for the car work. B.2 starting to sound better by the min.

You dont 'need' to add additional parts, but the steering rack has known issues (alum part available) and springs are $20 a pair. Kyosho quality is top notch but i never really liked it because it seemed you had to run a variety of different parts...rear arms from the old car...axles from from some other car etc...I also dont like how there are a few different shock ends available depending on which arms / how much droop you want. If you arent careful you could get lost quick. The B4.2 is proven and comes out of the box ready. It all boils down though to parts support, if your track has good parts support for kyosho and you can afford the quality then get it. I end up trying all the latest and greatest stuff and always come back to the b4 because thats what suits me.
