I got the V9 then too. What do you have it in, and what do you like about it?

I have it in a MBX7 I am running carbon shoes 1.0 springs. What I like about it is I have not had to mess with the tune much after the first gallon I set it the way I wanted and have left it alone. The tempetures I have ran in have varied about 20 degrees and all I have had to do is adjust my high speeded needle a hour or two and it was fine. The best way to describe the way it feels is crisp. I just hope it holds up like the Novas if it does I will buy another one.

If you can find out which is which, there are several earlier version Blasts on German ebay for cheap.. I'm pretty sure at least one of them had the WS7 internals.. Was either the V2, V4, or V5....
V2 Info:

Look up "rb blast" in modellbau on ebay.de, and you can find info about the V4 and V5. The V4 is based on the WS9... So not sure how that relates to the WS7...
ps - Just read that the Blast V1 is a WS9 with different head and carb.. Bit harder to find, but they are out there...

OK, any new Blast V9 updates? Just got a deal on a buggy roller, and I can either give him €150, or the Blast V9.. I'm hearing the V11 is basically a B9 - which I guess means more power than the V9? Anyway, I could send off the V9 now, and pick something else up later - either a V8 or V11, both of which I assume are more power than the V9... - and both of which are fairly easy to find here, and wouldn't cost too much more I think. Quite a few good engine deals going on around here.. (Go 5-port with pipe, Alphas, Nova Beat B5, etc..) But if I were to hear some stellar new updates on the V9................................................ ....

The Blast is nothing like. C6, the blast is a 5 port engine, the C6 is a 7 port engine, the only engine that RB has been made that actually is a C6, was the ,B9, B10, and the B11.
RB made a 5 port engine a few years back, but it was a sport engine, and I believe it had a 13 mm crank, instead of the new Blast has 14 mm crank.

5 port engine with 13mm crank was S5 (I got one - 10 gallons without changing anything ) Hobby in 2009 also had 5 ports
Herrsavage I had the same problem too
I can't find exploded view of Blast V9 but is based on C5 so its probably very similar to V11 (they all have the same piston -sleeve- crankshaft combination )
