We should really have a chart on the first page comparing the weights of stock parts vs. aftermarket parts to help out everyone with their decisions.

There is a link to a weight chart on the first post. Here it is:

Proud fellow 410 owners, I'm hearing a lot about nose diving with this truck. I ran this truck in 6races in the last 3 weeks. On the last race it started that nose dive crap. My setup has been exactly the same, my driving well I hope it's about the same. So I went to change diff oils, not that it needed it. When I did I noticed the front coupler had come loos a Lil bit, that allowed pinion in diff case to move forward and make contact with the diff case. After resetting it and tightened it back , I noticed it doesn't nose dive anymore. I'm not saying its the problem with nose diving but it is worth lookin into if you are haven this problem. Oh way this truck ROCKS.

Hi guys,

Well, we've come back from the 2013 Dirt Nitro Challenge (even though there were quite a few electrics) and I'm happy to report that the SCT410 TQ'd and won Pro (Austin Blair) and Open (Thomas Jones) 4x4 SC classes.

We'll have a full report later, but the trucks were great this weekend. We'll have some setup sheets for you too. Thomas Jones ran bone stock - literally every setting, no lightened parts, no options.

Talk to you soon.

Is it a necessity to run an aluminum servo arm for steering? Looking at the first page it shows a list of "compatible" servo arms...are other manufacturer arms not compatible for a particular reason?

Congrats Tekno for a great showing at the DNC...Austin should have won pro 1/8 e-buggy as well...he's very close to a big win for you guys!

I use the Racers Edge servo horn on both the EB48 and SCT410. I mounted the linkage above the horn.

Stiffened up the truck alittle...

Took the track record in qualifying and reset the fastest lap recorded on the current layout @ my home track Fri night.

Also broke my 2nd axle in 3 weeks. I'm hoping it's really because I'm running the +3 Assoc rims/wheels and the axles themselves are not a weak point, crashes were not all that bad, just happened to come down on that tire first after trying to triple thru traffic...twice

Plan on eventually switching over to the correct rims but I have a box full of the +3 stuff laying around...

Looks good. You shoud think about putting a 2mm metal washer on the servo link so it'll straighten out the connection. That's what most of the team drivers do in sou ca.
