Serpent 811E Buggy Thread
#3348
i ran my first race this past sunday with a rc monster converted car and i loved it. i do have one question for any body that has coverted a nitro car. what set up changes did u make goin from nitro to electric? my car seemed to nose dive a bit , almost like the rear hits the face the jumps. i'm thinking i need to put stiffer springs in the rear. i did not change anything going from nitro to electric.

I know I have to run thicker, but how much. On the serpent site they says 2000 thicker, but like I see on nitro buggy guys use 15k 13k and 8k. So 2-3 times thicker. So I would like to know what wt should I start with new gears. And should I leave the same wt in shocks with new end o change wt.
Thanks

Hey guys, I am selling my practically brand new 811e. Just wanted to give a heads up before I list it in case anyone is interested. I will post pictures soon
The car is practically brand new. I raced it once. It has less than 30 minutes of run time on in total. I don't even think the diffs are fully broken in yet.
It is a 811e with 2.0 rear end. Includes BNIB unopened front and rear upgrade swaybar kit with a set of 2.3 sway bars. Also includes alum. rear brace. Plastic spur. Alum Serpent Servo Horn. Has all the original unused 1.0 rear end parts.
I'll let it go for $600 shipped to lower 48. It would cost around $850 to duplicate this car with the upgrades new.
Shoot me a PM if interested.
