So I'm getting to the point where I'm feeling like saddle packs and a different motor are all thats left to try with my SC10 4x4. The stock shocks on emulsion have worked well so haven't tried the RC Shox dual stage pistons.
I have installed
Exotek V.2 Chassis
Exotek Rear Hubs
RC Shox V.2 Center Diff 6 pins
M2C Toe Block 3.5 toe 0 degree anti squat
RPM Arms Front/Rear
Sway Bars Front white/Rear blue
Front Springs in Rear
8mm mod
8mm limiters in shocks
Which makes me wonder about what I've already installed since a lot of the hop ups for the SC10 4x4 don't have very good instructions if any at all, the M2C toe block instructions are hard to understand but you can figure it out sort of? I'm still not sure if its right.
But I keep wondering about my Exotek rear hubs as they didn't have any manual so using them for the 8mm mod or even a stock configuration is hard to set up since theres no reference data besides Cain's tips and info. This is all I've been able to really find.

Just got back from the track after a couple new tuning updates and the first run on the new rear Exotek hubs. These work fantastic. I found that using the 2mm spacer that it comes with and an additional 2mm spacer takes me right to the same height that using the B4.1 rear carbon hub tower I was using before I got them. I'm still using 7mm of spacers in the inner as well. I've also put in 7k diff fluid up front and 5k in the rear with the ball diff and 4 pins. It felt perfect. I ended up taking 3rd in the A-main tonight on a track I only ran once before and had no practice time. This truck is perfect now and I am very glad I gave it the chance it deserves!

More info on Exotek rear carriers. The best feature is the ability to adjust camber link length and the ballstud height. The other cool thing is because the ballstud mounts on top the camber link clears the shock and maintains a nice angle (almost parallel with the arm). When doing the 8mm mod using the stock carrier and the B4 extender the camber link must be run forward to clear the shock spring and has an extreme angle. Apparently this is ok because Brian Kinwald runs it like that. But I wanted a straighter angle and the exotek carriers give you that.
So currently I'm running 6mm on the exotek hubs and ballstud is in center hole on exotek hub and inner hole on shock tower with 7mm of washers for my attempt at the 8mm mod. My Camber links are straight parallel with the arm and even with the shock tower ball stud.

If you have the Exotek Rear Hubs and have any feedback on them. Specifically what the 3 mounting holes on the top that the camber link attaches, changes in performance or handling. Or even how many washers your using post up. This threads about sharing info

Here'd how its set up currently till I go with a different motor or try saddle packs anything to make the weight more balanced

Cain how do you like the techno products over the associated and I'd be interested in that exoteric chassis I'm considering getting the techno later in the season
Got kicked out by Scott ....
Did manage to practice & add fresh seals & oil to the shocks ..
Also refresh the diff oils ...
Clean slipper pads & a new spur & pinion for extra quiet performance .
Masking a JConcept High Flow after this post ....
Tomorrow(friday)
Paint
Grip & put back in bag my 2 sets of fresh scuff Pressure points ...
practice rest of day till 8:00 Pm
Then go
eat Wings & drink beer with the boys and brag
about
racing car's with itty bitty steering wheels .......

Check your pm 9 turn for more indepth info on the Tekno. I did post a general comparison to the SC10 4x4 earlier however.
So with the Exotek hubs why would you need to raise the link so high. As I understood the 8mm Mod it is that high cause of the hub extension. Couldn't you just go back to the base ball studs and raise the hub stud 2mm?
