They're the same part numbers as the B4.1 towers. It's just a running change to the design to allow more clearance for the BB shocks (which is what people have been doing already with a Dremel).

After my gold pan rc10 i bought an "RC10 GRAPHITE" which was the name on the box. The TQ10 was a little later i believe.

It's pure bling... I'm quite happy with the titanium turnbuckles that come with the kit.

Most of the stuff we buy is for the "cool" look, lol.

I got my kit built last night. My front hinge pin brace was messed up and wouldn't go on. One hole was smaller then the other and it would not go over the hinge pin. Also I hate the shock ends they are hard to get them to thread straight. One of my front arms does not hang free I need to look into that. And the shock bleeder o-ring is useless. I haven't had an Associated car in a while but this car does not seem Losi quality.

I got some arms a while back that had excessive flashing on them. I had to sand them and they still sucked. luckily I broke them both and bought new ones with no flashing, lol. There has been some weirdness with the QC at AE. We all know the parts are made in china, but still AE needs to get a better control on the quality. My front and rear big bores have different sized bleeder screws and require to different hex drivers to bleed them. Losi has its issues also. The coating on their shock shafts falls off pretty quick and the 22sct had pretty big issues with ball cups pupping off. AE will replace your goofed up parts. Their support is really good.

Ditch the bleeder orings and use the losi brass bleeder washer. Prethread the shock ends with a 4/40 screw or a 4-40 tap. They still go on tight. Kinda odd since they are the same ends and the new shafts are smaller.

Sure Losi has problems as does every RC manufacturer of some parts that just don't hold up. But I have built a lot of Losi 22 kits 2 buggys, truck and sct. I have not had any parts out of the box that just don't work.

It's just frustrating I cant finish my build with what came in the box. I would have been done last night and I am trying to get it track ready for Saturday. Now I have to go back to my hobby store and spend a couple more bucks on some parts to make it go together properly.

The threads are 3mm...i would not prethread them with a 4-40 screw. As for the bleeder orings....just dont use them, the losi part is not a neccesity. Just use the screw.

As far as one of your front arms not hanging free...double check that there isnt any flashing on the chassis where the arms would rub (by the mount).

I have never had an oring bleeder cap issue. All the issues I have seen is from them being over tightened.

Looks like my kit will be in early next weel at my LHS. 1st one they will be getting in too. I appreciate the postings of issues some of you are having so I know what to watch for. It's going to be my 2nd Associated kit. The other one went together pretty trouble free.

Tried not using bleed seals on my new Pro-Lite 4x4, they leaked even though I snug um down tight ...
