For sure. Keep in mind that bk's setup is loose in the back end which is why it steers tighter. I would go to a softer rear sway bar first. Tires are 90% of the setup. I typically run as soft of a compound as my wallet affords... the softer the compound, the quicker you'll be replacing tires but typically gives the best traction. Keep in mind that super soft compounds with large thin knobs can feel a bit squirrly until they are run down a bit. You could also try adding some camber to the rear, which will help in the corners, but make it worse on the straight... which is why I didn't mention initially because you said you were having problems there as well. I wouldn't go more than a 3mm difference in ride height between front and rear, but play within those boundaries and you should be fine.

He takes care of that himself. I just narrate.

Aren't you supposed to be bandwagon'ing and have a Prolite by now, getting out of the thread too?

FYI Bbradyc5, Try with and without the "8mm mod". It drives terrible for me indoor. Loved it outdoor.

So it looks like I'm making the switch to Tekin. I've been castle till now but the bec having issues with savox servos and spektrum receivers has reached a point where even with a cap on the receiver my truck dies every 5 minutes and resets. After DNFing my last 5 races I'm ready to try something new. I spoke with castle and they recommend buying a $20 external bec but I have a great deal on a RX8 and pro 4 4000kv motor in awesome condition so going that way.

I've heard the RX8 needs more tuning so any help with settings for RX8 and gearing for a pro4 4000 and rc shox center diff would be appreciated.

Will try and go a bit lower and see how it goes. It did seem 23mm was a bit high as compared to the few that seemed to bet turning quick lap times. Going to give the rcs two stage pistons a fair shake in these trials but would you still suggest a thicker oil anyway?

Yeah definitely gonna try softer compound as one of my first changes. I can see how one may like the rear to run loose and have that as part of your driving style, I think my setup is just too loose. Noted on the camber, don't think I can go more than the -1 I have now as it is already a handful on the straight

I run the same combo, I believe I got 16t pinion and 10 degrees timing on the rx8, can't help you with the rc shox center diff tho

Drove a Tekno. What a phenomenal driving Truck. I'm quite jealous. Still working with my sc10 till our series is over. So I guess i'm not checking out just yet.

Reason I suggest the standard piston & heavier oil is because standard pistons usually performs better on smooth surfaces ....

check what tires the faster guys are using , also ask what inserts they are using..

Ae

I have using the new Lrp FLOW for a couple months now , that's like a year for most as I race & practice quite a lot .

So far all has been good ...

Incredible performance & it comes with a fan .
The case is now all metal & really helps keep it cool to help handle a Sc10 4x4 demands ...

Well got my car together and working properly! All I need now is a proper radio and I'll be set... Enjoying the SC4X combo though, seems to work fine for me and keeps up with the other 4x4's out there.

The car isn't near as hard to work on as others have said either...

Hey guys I have aquired 2 sc10 4wd trucks and looking to up grade both of them. On the first one I have added a exotek chassis with a saddle pack set up. I like the way this truck feels and I am running very close to fast guys at my track. The second truck is all stock but I will be adding the exotek set up to it all so. I have been looking around at different parts and I am wonder about your thoughts of the products from these people.

I've used some STRC aluminum parts on several of my vehicles and was very pleased with the quality and fit of the parts. Haven't heard much/any positive feedback regarding Hotracing.

Casey , Loose the mud flaps & you can even trim the sides off the rear bumper . Will improve handling on your Sc10 4x4....

Blue

Looks like it's Tails im getting the SC10 4wd first before that buggy.
So im looking at a copperhead system AKA endouro's and Savox Servo. Probably $500 for everything.
