^^^ Yeah, my friend has the same motor as you, and he was flying! His buggy with 1900kV was as fast as mine with a Tekin 1900kV, and my buggy hauls.

These Track Star motors are legit.

Not to beat a dead horse,,,,,but. What does boiling the arms do? Make them more flexible? Is there any downside, like making them sag over time. I'm asking as I have a big race coming up in an indoor horse arena but the temps could be as low 30 degrees. The talk about arms breaking is concerning since this track is known for big jumps + the combination of lower temps could make plastic more brittle. I bought 1 set of front & rear spare arms. Now I'm wondering if I should boil both my spares, or buy more.

It will make them slightly more flexible. This will happen over time anyway as the arms will absorb some moisture out of the air, so you're really just speeding up the process. With temps that low I'd boil them and bring extras, really cold weather is not nice to plastics.

maybe i have been lucky,but i am no smooth driver and have run 10 packs thru my buggy with no arm issues.i have landed akwardly many times,nose diving into a jump or into the pipes with no arm issues. hope i didn't just put the whammy on myself,lol

will be taking the EB48 to the Jam session at the mall. They setup a 15 foot distance jump, with the EB48 can basically clear it and then some from a dead stop. Thin carpet over concrete. Should test the a-arms well lol.

The steel spur isn't much louder than the plastic one as someone said. Very nice. One thing I am not too big on is the channel where the motor block goes on, the lip that sticks up on either side is very thin metal and can tweak easily. Was wondering why my mount wouldn't slide in, now I know why. so just watch that area when you put the mount in.

I assume you are basing this on your(below) previously posted driving conditions and experience?

Asphalt & sand dunes . These are the nature of the land here.
i would be happy if you tried bashing or even doing some short racing on the powder sand here and see your driving .

Hi Cain

today it arrived . here some pics comparing the two spurs you were asking for. hope it would helps. if i strpped my stock installed spur i will try putting this HB's spur and see if it can fit.
if you need any more info about it, i'll be glad to answer.

I would love to try it out, I'm sure it is a whole other element. What do you use for tires? We have sand here(New England), but probably nothing like what you have. I raced motocross for years, and I am local to Southwick which is considered the only real sand track on the AMA pro circuit, and it definitely does take a different technique to go fast there. I will have to find some of your videos now..........

Hey I drive the buggy this weekend and it was great!!! I'm running on a med size hard packed outdoor clay track. 7-7-3 and 40-35 front to back. What can I do to get more rear tracking. The thing seems so agile and confident in the air! Thanks

I broke my wheels with spokes on the eb48 so put some black dishes on I had at home. Suddenly the entire drivetrain was seized/frozen. Turns out the wheel sat on the hub too far and was pressed firmly against the hub carriers. This was a new one for me but the veterans told me it used to a common issue. Anyone have this issue? Any fixes? I know I can put a washer/shim though I am not certain what size would be ideal as I've yet to measure everything. I plan to order new wheels and tires but worry I will have the same issue with the new wheels.
