Team Associated B4.2 Thread
#61
The B4.2 is not a new car. Not trying to argue or anything but when I have a B4.2 sitting on my table at home and have had it for a few months it is not a 'new' car. It is the same car bagged with a bunch of hop-ups. The geometry is exactly the same, the specs are exactly the same and so on and so on.
Back on topic.

@07forrester Since you own this thread, please be sure to update the first post with all the usually stuff we say day in and day out. One really good thing would be a "racer" starting gear ratio. I think the AE manual for the 4.2 is still a bit conservative for blinky.

It's like that because an "un-redesigned" car isn't new. It's an update. The B4 and 90%+ of it's parts and design content date back to 2002. The only changes that actually effect the way the car runs are the rear tower update ("4th" hole), the BB shocks, and the +8mm chassis. It still runs great, as it always did but let's recognize it for what it is.

You can bet your right hand that there will be a B4.2 Worlds Kit in the very near future and depending which Ryan wins (Go RM) it will come with either AKA or J Concepts tires
. Will there be a new thread for that kit too?
