the buggy came pre-spaced lol. Looks like just some standard AE blue spacers. By filing the towers you mean to clear the shock cap? from what I can tell on the rear, no, it wasn't filed. I'll give it another look and check but I don't recall.

Because this is a tuning option they use, I would imagine that it does make a change. Plus I can greatly feel it. I plan to move the rear shock tower forward. The only side effect I can see it that it will move some weight forward. Will that be good or bad? I will find out :-)
Thanks for the heads up. That actually would be a good thing on carpet I am thinking, so who knows, maybe a side benefit. I may give it a try back the stock way and see how it goes. And if I need to lock in the rear more, may try more toe.

Exactly. If people on here would just stop arguing about it, and just test it themselves. If they would test them back to back, they will notice a difference for sure.

But they don't..which would solve half the questions

There was not enough difference for me to notice. I consider myself a decent driver. I usually podium in sportsman or sometimes even win. When I run with sponsored guys I'm usually toward the middle/back, but a lot of good guys go to WC. So I figure some top guys would notice a difference but I don't. Then again, I run on high traction

Can't argue...

Just do your best to help the ones who don't understand.

Don't know that it would help but sort of on topic....... Sc10 motor guard has a extra little plastic on it, makes a great handle.

Tested it back to back many times and the important thing that guys haven't grasped yet is that we are all over the world and all run on totally different tracks. Each change you make can feel totally different on those different tracks.

For the tracks I run on and on my car, A hub tower gave more consistent bite through the turn but not the drive off the corner. C tower had the car rotate through the turn in more of a controlled slide but really square up and go when you grabbed the throttle.

Personally I like the C better but some guys like A. I am pretty sure Hartson has quite a few setups listed where he is on A and we have a few local guys here in PA/NJ/MD area that are faster with A too.

One thing I haven't tried was running the C with 2 washers (std Ubrace) just to see how it felt. All last winter I did 0 washers. This year I have been running 1. I'll probably try 2 soon just to see how the car feels different.

And for gods sakes, don't start throwing roll centers at me. I know what it does, but I don't care LOL. I just care about how the car feels after the change

Well, since i need more traction exiting corners, should I add more or less washers on the u brace?

Also, this white plastic piece cracked, the motor still operates fine, but should I replace it?

First, if it's broke, fix it.

Second, grasp the concept of what I just said.... Try both with the washers. Unless you are qualifying for Ifmar worlds, you have races that you can use to try things. You can ask us and we can all give you an answer and honestly, they can all be both right and wrong.

Do yourself a favor and get a note pad and just jot down this kind of stuff so you know. We can't all be named Ryan or Jarred

This is some of the best advice. Run 5 laps, make 1 change and run 5 more. Make notes on lap times and what feels better. If it feels worse or lap times are slower change it back and run 5 more. I started Cavalieri indoor clay setup andchanges from there.

and I'm not really trying to be a dick about it. I mean the truth is I can tell you exactly what I would do to make your car work for me on my track but that's not going to help you...

Plus I am a much better mechanic than I have ever been driver...... I can set them up and get you right but I can't get clean runs to save my life LOL Need more practice!
