I heard the b 4.1 is going straight to b5.0
lol
anyway, what advantage does the 8+ chassis offer? since I broke mine at the front today.
also someone told me that the metal bulkhead pc I have is probably what caused it to break. the stock plastic one is supposed to break saving the chassis.
any truth to that or is it just a "theory".
oh and sears usually has decent little pick sets for $5 or so. I use them for everything. they're also useful for aligning holes.

I've been running it in my B4.1 since it's release and love it. Very consistant run to run and day to day. I have adjusted it once since installing it.

I like the way it drives as is. maybe I'll give it a try at some point and stick with the standard chassis. since you have to buy the $18 battery brace, different body, and the hold down screws for it too

Yes you will eventually want to get a new body, but you can make the old one work. Just have to cut it a little more around the front. I did that for a little while when I was waiting for my bodies to be painted.

Ive been using Sticky Kicks White early in the day when the track still has moisture in it. Then going to Red as it dries out. Havent had a chance to try the green but i hear its great when the track is wet.
So I am wondering and have read so far that the stock servo saver fails on the b4. Is the Avid setup way better and give better control or does it just eliminate the saver so no further failures happen.
I ask because I was going to order their slipper setup and was going to add it to my order if its really worth it.
Also I am running stock class with a novack havoc sc pro and a reedy sonic 17.5 and was wondering what some people are running for a base start on gearing. My LHS said most people run the Kimbrough 69T spur with a 35T pinion but I just wanted to make sure I am going it the right direction.
As you can tell I am new so be easy! LOL

The avid slipper is very nice for a 17.5 class, because it is light and tunable. you can run the 72 tooth pinion that comes with the avid slipper with a 32ish tooth pinion and turn the timing on the motor to max. At least that what matt told me.
