Drove my pants off Averaging almost my fastest lap this Saturday's big Opening at Topgear Hobbies.
Ripped out the cleanest set i've done, and STILL was not fast enough. Did everything in my power to not be lapped by 1st and 2nd. Solid 3rd but gawd DAMN

Guys.. I got a question. My steering link keeps popping off the ballstud. It took me out of a qualifier last week and put me way back in the main. Then it happened 2 more times today. I replaced both the ballstud and the ball cup links. What can I do to fix it? Is there a way to put captured set-up like the rc8's have?
Thanks
Thanks
Thanks
just so I am understanding the issue right, the Factory Team chassis brace is breaking, and people have run a long bolt thru it to strengthen it?
So in short, would a stronger alloy brace be a solution if you are having issues with the Factory team chassis brace?
Man, those must be some killer jumps!

Do you feel you need more setup tuning or is it more driver time?

The motorcycle industry changed to upside down forks in the 80's so don't undo technology on yourself.

just lower the ride height to help control the roll overs ....
suggest 23mm
*Practice rolling off the throttle sooner & smoother
*Use just the tip of your finger on the trigger to help .
your idea is not new but a good one, original 1st rc10's had the shocks upside down .

If it was that easy xD My rideheight already is at minimum, though im running at a very bumpy high traction track. But i think i can live with it, till we get a new surface and i need new tires, setup and so on...
Raise the timing on your motor to 35<>40 degree, check the temps after a few minutes on track .
Make sure your not running to hot !!!!!

this will help you roll smoother
off power in the turns & on power less wheel spin
check ESC drag brake setting
make sure throttle trim is neutral

seems interesting, what's the technical background of it? the highest timing i can use is 26.25 degrees, but i'll try it friday. At the moment im running about 11 degrees and have temps around 50-70 deegrees Celsius.
